For a simple infusion study, this basic set-up is the fastest, easiest and cleanest system that we offer. By using the CannuLock™ Catheter Access Buttons™ and Tethers, animals can be quickly connected & disconnected for frequent weighing, with minimal disruption to the study. If infusion is intermittent, then the protective cap makes it possible to group house animals & improve animal welfare during portions of the study.
This set up makes it possible to simultaneously infuse solutions and collect blood for PK and TK parameters. The swivel line connects between the pump and the CannuLock™ Catheter Access Buttons™. A second line is connected to our Catheter Access Port™ to keep the blood collection process clean, reduce blood loss, and improve catheter patency. To reduce paperwork and improve large scale studies, we offer pump management software.
